How to find community AND profitability as an entrepreneur with Profit First small group coaching

Group Coaching

I’m a big fan of efficiency. Two birds with one stone? Heck yeah, hand me that rock.

What I’m not a big fan of: being lonely, especially as an entrepreneur.

If you’re a business owner, not only are you responsible for everything that goes on in your business — and whether it succeeds — but for your employees, too. It can feel very isolating, especially if you’ve worked for a company or as part of a team before this.

I don’t believe “It’s lonely at the top” has to be true, though. If you have the freedom to make the decisions, decide to build yourself a community.

That’s where the efficiency comes in. How many accountability and coaching and entrepreneur and special interest groups out there are there for you to join? Probably thousands.

But the magic of Profit First small group coaching is that it serves multiple purposes:

  1. Helps you grow a sustainable, profitable business
  2. Lets you learn and implement at a reasonable pace
  3. Gives you a community of other entrepreneurs who are facing similar challenges and growth stages
  4. Helps you learn faster by seeing your peers’ situations and questions

In my small groups, I teach you how to use Profit First to manage your cash flow. Profit First is a cash-management philosophy and system that creates long-term success for businesses by putting profit first.

This doesn’t mean make a profit at any cost — it means protect your company’s profit by setting it aside first.

Because profit is what feeds your purpose!

Here’s your rock. Let’s get those birds.

(No birds were harmed in the making of this post. Please don’t throw actual rocks at actual birds.)

Who are you?

I’m Ean, the Founder and Co-owner of Moxie Bookkeeping and Coaching (and a Profit First Professional).

It took a personal bankruptcy years ago for me to figure out that “work hard and you’ll succeed” isn’t enough. Running a business takes not just grit, but knowledge and support (knowledge without action is worthless).

Today, I use the Profit First cash flow management method to help purpose-driven entrepreneurs get at-a-glance financial clarity. Over more than 20 years, I’ve helped more than 10,000 small businesses and non-profits simplify their bookkeeping, get the most out of every dollar and become profitable.

Why should I work with you?

I believe a company should be a celebration of its purpose, and people served. Money should not be the thing holding you back from making the greatest impact.

When we’re finished, you’ll have:

  • A firm grasp of Profit First essential concepts
  • Set target allocations based on your debt, goals, and preferences
  • Created and implemented an initial plan to manage your cash flow
  • A tried-and-tested plan for biweekly and quarterly maintenance
  • Confidence in implementing Profit First in the long term

What are my options for small group coaching?

Small group coaching runs for 12 months. (You can also take advantage of individual coaching with me.)

What happens next?

Here’s how it works:

  1. We discuss your unique business, where you stand and what you need on a free consultation call.
  2. We’ll help you figure out which program is right for you.
  3. If we’re a good fit for each other, we’ll move forward together.
  4. You pursue the program that works for you and create a sustainable, profitable business.
