I want to reframe what the word profit means. Profit means stability, impact, sustainability for your small business. It is the oxygen you need to keep going. No business should be running on a profit of less than 5%, and 20% is a much healthier number. This is precisely why you need to reframe your mindset around profit. I want to help you create a business mindset so you can have a business you are passionate about whilst also generating sustainable profits.
For people who run their business like a labor of love, profit can be the last thing they want to think about. Maybe you even think that focusing on the money stuff corrupts your vision. But if that is true, then what you have is a calling, not a business (and you should line up another way to support yourself). Making the mindset switch from a calling to a business can be tough, but I’m here to guide you through.
